Cookie Policy

Last updated: pending finalization

This policy explains how rawmaterial.live uses cookies and similar technologies (local storage, session storage) when you visit the site or sign into the portal.

What is a cookie?

A cookie is a small text file your browser stores when you visit a website. Cookies let the site remember things like your sign-in session, your preferences, or how you navigate between pages.

Essential cookies

These keep you signed in and protect your session. They are required for the portal to function. Examples: Supabase authentication tokens, CSRF protection tokens.

Cannot be disabled — without them, sign-in won't work.

Functional cookies

These remember preferences such as your last selected view, the collapsed/expanded state of the sidebar, and similar UX choices so the experience is consistent across visits.

Optional — disabling them will reset preferences on each visit but the portal will still work.

Analytics cookies

We may use first-party or privacy-friendly third-party analytics (e.g., Plausible, Vercel Analytics) to understand usage patterns in aggregate. These do not identify you individually.

Third-party services

Some features rely on third-party services that may set their own cookies — for example WhatsApp click-to-chat, embedded maps, or external document viewers. We do not control cookies set by these providers; their policies apply.

Managing cookies

You can control or delete cookies through your browser settings. Most browsers let you block cookies by domain, clear stored cookies, or open private/incognito sessions that don't persist them.

Note: disabling essential cookies will prevent you from signing in.

Changes

We'll update this policy as the technologies we use evolve. Material changes will be announced before they take effect.
